Key responsibilities include: - Product Development Oversight: Managing end-to-end engineering processes for wireless devices, from conceptual design through certification and market launch. - Certification Leadership: Overseeing all certification activities, ensuring devices comply with carrier and industry requirements while accelerating time to market. - Vendor & ODM Management: Building and maintaining strategic relationships with global ODM partners, guiding them to meet ANS’ technical standards and carrier requirements. - Risk Management: Designing and implementing supplier risk assessment frameworks, driving proactive mitigation strategies to ensure product continuity and compliance. - Cost & Efficiency Optimization: Negotiating testing waivers, optimizing certification processes, and implementing best practices that consistently yield significant cost savings. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with sales, marketing, and logistics to align product launches with business strategies, ensuring smooth operational execution. - Leadership & Mentorship: Coaching supplier engineers and project managers, reinforcing industry best practices, and developing technical talent aligned with ANS’s goals. - Crisis Management: Leading resolution efforts for field issues, customer complaints, epidemic defects, and emergency maintenance releases, acting as the first line of defense. - Strategic Influence: Regularly providing insights and data that shape ANS’ product roadmap, market strategy, and long-term business trajectory.
