Before that I had over three years of experience with online private lessons via SKYPE and lately VIBER but ZOOM is definitely a major upgrade, both in terms of quality of services offered, as well as in the total number of students/ trainees at the same time. Online coaching can't fully replace physical presence but can offer exciting new possibilities of accessibility and reach.

Mar. 2017Athens, Attiki, GreeceAs rhetoric trainer for the National School of Public Administration and Local Government (ΕΣΔΔΑ - part of the permanent register of Instructors), I coordinated the 7-hour experiential course on 'Public Speaking Techniques' for four separate groups of about 20 trainees each on 2016-2017 and eight separate groups of about 20 trainees on 2017-2018 and also coordinated a day conference on "Innovation, Technology and Public Administration". The course involved active listening, speech structure tools, body language, breathing and vocalizing exercises and culminated with written feedback for a prepared or impromptu 3'-6' public speech. As Rhetoric Trainer for the Institute of Training (ΙΝΕΠ) I have offered seminars on argumentation, persuasion and effective communication in Athens (June2017, October 2017, September 2018, November 2018) and in Larissa (July 2017).

Oct. 2016Filothei and Marousi, Attiki, GreeceAs the head rhetoric coach at Ionios School I coordinate: a. the Debating Club for Junior and Senior High School students (weekly meetings in English that train members not only in British Parliamentary Debating and World Schools Debating but also in other Forensics Events - Impromptu Speaking, Oratory, Oral Interpretation of Literature, Group Discussion and Duet Acting and participation at Debating and Forensics Tournaments), b. the Debating Club for Primary School Students (weekly meetings in English and Greek) and c, the Model United Nations Club for Junior and Senior High School students (weekly meetings in English and participation at MUN Conferences). d. the new, one-day British Parliamentary debating competition "Ionios School Debating Club Friendly Freshers' Cup" (ISDCFFC) aimed at offering the opportunity to young debaters to gain competitive experience and quality training, in a friendly and supportive environment. The first edition gathered 44 students from 4 private schools (Ionios School, Moraitis School, St. Catherine's British School, and I.M. Panagiotopoulos School).

My main responsibility was coaching and judging debate and public speaking events mainly for Greek Rhetoric competitions and secondarily for Panhellenic Forensics, Debate competitions and Model United Nations (M.U.N.) in English, escorting students to their respective events and assisting the person who has been responsible for these activities. I have also trained students of all ages to basic rhetoric skills in Greek (body language, voice modulation and breathing, active listening, argumentation etc.), and, especially for Primary School students, a custom program of public oral interpretation of modern Greek literature. Lastly, I have offered special trainings on presentation skills and active listening to teachers as well as a special forensics events' adjudication for new adjudicators.

The broadcast consisted of 12 short debates (speech-fights) among 8 University students teams consisting of two members each. There was a preliminary phase, semifinals and a grand final with the winning team getting a trip to England to participate at an international debating tournament. The debates were evaluated by a 5 member panel consisting of University Professors and debate/communication experts. At the broadcast production I was responsible for the selection and coaching of the debating teams, in the research of the debate topics, in training and assisting the adjudication panel and in participating at the pannel in 6 of the debates, including the Grand Final.
