Key Responsibilities: • Deliver one-on-one and group support to students with autism and other developmental challenges • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, feeding, and mobility • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and behavior specialists to implement academic and behavioral strategies • Utilize SP&A (Safe Practices & Alternatives) training to manage challenging behaviors safely and respectfully • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with agency standards • Encourage communication, socialization, and independence through structured routines and positive reinforcement • Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that empowers individuals to thrive Certifications: • CPR Certified • SP&A Trained • New Jersey Substitute Teaching Certificate
