Prof. Martin Atu Ngozika Anikwe is a Professor of Soil Science at Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Nigeria, with over 25 years of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience in soil physics, conservation, and environmental management. He holds an M.Sc. in Soil Science from ESUT and a Ph.D. in Soil Physics and Conservation from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and has served in key roles including Head of Department of Agronomy and Ecological Management, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Director of Consultancy Services, and Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Enugu State. A Fellow of the Soil Science Society of Nigeria and Editor-in-Chief of the Nigerian Journal of Soil Science, he has published widely on soil quality, land degradation, and climate‑smart soil management, and contributes to national and international professional bodies advancing sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship.��
