*Responsible for the accomplishment or supervision of capital projects and basic engineering of brownfield and greenfield investments. *Duty of searching for new process technologies that could represent threats or opportunities for the company (e.g., Licensor selection for C4 & aromatics units).
*Follow up and evaluation of the main indicators of the performance of the process (consumption of energy, the efficiency of equipment, Solomon KPI...).
*Selection and assessment of catalyst for hydrogenation of pyrolysis gasoline.
*Selection of Technology for a Vapor Recovery Unit. *Development of several debottleneck and optimization projects. *Process leader in charge of multidisciplinary projects carried out by maintenance, project, commercial, automation, field engineering, and turnaround teams. (SPIE, RBI, Hazardous Areas reclassification studies IEC versus NEC, etc..)
*Support advanced control teams during DMC step tests
*User of various simulation software (Spyro, Aspen, B-Jack, Hysys, etc.)
*Process engineer with multiple sites experience (Aromatics, Pygas Hydrotreating Units Plant 1 / Plant 2, Olefins, off-sites, storage, and two harbors).
*Support field, safety, control, and operation engineers by providing expertise for specific unit technology, supporting troubleshooting, and major turnarounds.
