Casas ChurchService Director
Jul. 2012 - Feb. 2021Tucson, Arizona AreaProject Management: This role honed my communication, management, leadership, and relational skills. I worked closely with a staff of 7 and a volunteer team of 50+ to execute the logistics of services experienced by 2000+ people. In addition to managing the ins and outs of operational details, I spent a great deal of time meeting people, empowering them, and encouraging them toward a healthy, meaningful life. It brought me great joy to see people develop and thrive in the workplace and their personal lives, precisely as they are wired, supplementing their weaknesses and developing their strengths. This growth led to more quality leadership moments, more healthy, honest communication, a more trusted work experience, and more productive output. Consistently speaking and singing in a room of 2000+ people was an excellent opportunity to sharpen my public speaking skills, particularly in providing vision or crafting the precise moments that land a project, moment, or teaching point. Creative Development: Leading staff teams and a volunteer team of 50+ to accomplish our overall goal, I worked alongside a team of exceptional creatives, musicians, graphic designers, videographers, and professional communicators, to put together comprehensive services and creative projects from brainstorming to execution. Telling stories was the focus of everything we did. I wrote content, filmed supporting videos, coached actors and actresses, and produced special music for stories thousands of people experienced on multiple opportunities. From an individual's life experience to the way we welcome people, all of our service planning and creative content planning had a story at heart. My job was to make sure stories hit our audience in meaningful, moving ways from the beginning of the process to the final breath.
