Jan. 2002 - Dec. 2014As a Client Relations Specialist I was responsible for daily receptionist responsibilities. Answering 6 line phone systems, managing schedules for a 6-7 doctor practice, taking phone messages and prescription orders, typing letters/documents for doctors, cash handling experience (including credit cards, care credit, and checks) creating invoices for clients, and handling difficult clients in a timely, quiet manner among other duties. As a veterinary assistant I worked alone on my shift and was responsible for the care of hospitalized patients through the night. In this position I was capable of doing blood draws, placing IV catheters, reading urinalysis results as well as other lab results and running blood work after gathering the sample. Basic kennel duties such as laundry and cleaning cages, feeding patients, administering IV fluids and subcutaneous fluids, etc.
