• Created the first-ever HR Strategy for CEG. Reviewed the current gaps, the five-year growth plans, and company values and created a short-term and long-term company strategy
• Reviewed and updated out-of-date policies and accompanying letters which were not in line with legislation, ensuring they were simple to understand with consistent wording
• Led the TUPE of CEG contractors into the business, working on the proposals and engagement of existing employees (project put on hold due to Covid lockdown)
• Led and supported recruitment, including managing attrition, reviewing org charts, identifying vacancies, advertising, liaising with recruitment agencies, designing competency-based questions, pre-employment checks, and creating employment contracts • Due to an increase in mental health cases, created a Wellbeing Forum to understand how a better working environment could be created. Introduced coffee mornings for informal chats, invited a local MIND employee to meetings and planned well-being events
