I worked with the other coaches to make sure we not only stayed on task but also to make sure that the kids were having fun. I helped to instruct coaches on different methods for working with the campers, whether it be talking to them "on their level" or understanding that not every kid wants to play baseball so you must figure out a way to keep them engaged and happy. I also was in charge of speaking with parents about their individual kids needs and making sure they were well informed in what we were doing/how camp was going. I spoke with parents about any disciplinary measures that had to be taken and how we can work with their child better in the future.
