Sep. 2013 - Jan. 2016Linthicum MDAdminister policies and procedures of the employee handbook and benefit contracts •Process enrollments, changes and terminations in accordance with our benefit contracts •Manages administration of Retirement and Health Plans to include claims resolution, reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees •Assists in the development and implementation of HR programs •Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compile reports •Assist with the overall benefits strategy and offer ideas to improve and promote benefits including, but not limited to: Health Plans, Retirement Plans, and Wellness programs •Benchmark Benefit Programs and offer recommendations •Manage all FMLA, Worker’s Compensation, Disability and Leave of Absence Requests •Develop communication campaign to promote all HR offerings to employees including retirement planning educational sessions, open enrollment meetings, wellness challenges, policy changes, etc. • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations • Provide ongoing financial modeling and analysis • Lead the financial modeling and analysis to support the development of strategic initiatives/business plans •Strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning •Control income, cash flow and expenditure •Manage project and job budgets •Develop and manage financial systems/models •Supervise staff, liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues •Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs and services •Directly recruit, interview and hire team members •Identify and implement a cost effective and time-efficient recruitment strategy. •Supervise team members and act as the direct authority regarding performance, disciplinary procedures, discharging and all the legal responsibilities of employment •Mediate personnel problems, maintain team member morale and motivation •Complete regularly scheduled performance reviews to maximize team member potential •Facilitate Workers’ Compensation claims
