Baker-Hargrove is a founding partner of the health center dedicated to providing both primary and mental health care services to the LGBTQ and Ally community. Before joining 26Health, he had been with the Walt Disney Company for 24 years. Baker-Hargrove served on the board for the Mental Health Association of Central Florida for six years including a term as board chair. In that role, he oversaw a successful capital campaign that helped the association purchase a new building. The organization also grew its annual budget of $220,000 to surpass $1 million. Baker-Hargrove also has served as treasurer on the Florida State Board of Directors for Mental Health. “We have experienced significant growth which translates to our patient clientele having a higher comfort level seeking services,” said Baker-Hargrove, who is also a founding partner of the center. “We operate according to a very welcoming culture and part of my focus on broader community engagement as it relates to healthcare services.” As Chief Operating Officer for 26Health, Baker-Hargrove’s focus will be on building an organization that helps people live their authentic self in a welcoming and culturally competent environment beyond the LGBTQ and Ally community and to all levels of diversity.
