Sep. 2007 - Dec. 2010Geneva, Switzerland- Responsible for the development & execution of the Global Sourcing Strategy for RPW and Release Paper (siliconized film and paper, used in P&G’s Feminine Care products),special focus on the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa),representing an approximate spending of $90MM/year. - Intense cross-functional and cross-BU (business unit) work. Working closely with Marketing on all new Product Initiatives being launched in the market,as well as bridging the internal P&G functions (R&D, Marketing) with the Suppliers, aiming at delivering best-value sourcing. - Responsible for the development & execution of effective SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) with current incumbent suppliers,as well as further expanding the supply base by introducing competition in the industry and focusing on localization. - Negotiation:interaction with suppliers is intense and the achievement of best-value sourcing is strongly determined by the effective negotiations and relationships with them.
