• Research and compile information for policy reviews, revise and draft HR policies, research
employment and labor law topics
• Train Supervisors and Regional managers on employment and labor laws pertaining to their
individual states
• Develop recruitment program including approving advertisements, working with supervisors
to screen and interview candidates, conducting reference/background checks, extending job
offers, monitoring the onboarding process and conducting exit interviews
• Work closely with operations and HSE team to ensure proper OSHA trainings are completed
in timely manner
• Act as internal consultant regarding employment practices and compliance with policies,
procedures and all other HR practices
• Partner with Director of Operations for current staffing needs and forecasting for projected
future projects
• Develop, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures, prepares and maintains
handbook on policies and procedures, performs benefits administration to include claims
resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and re-evaluation of policies for
cost-effectiveness
• Work with HSE for DOT compliance, medical cards, drug screening
• Work closely with BDD, HRD for strategic succession planning, budgets for departments and
yearly wage increase
• Implement and oversee programs related to insurance programs, open enrollment programs, PTO
plan, employee benefit initiatives
