Oct. 2006 - Sep. 2007- Cooperate with NOC Manager with the Operations and Maintenance processes. - Analyze network indicators on the platform, to identify any major faults that affect the operation of it.
- Continuous 24/7 monitoring of the status, performance and alarms of all network nodes and segments.
- Coordinating execution, and where appropriate, executing Work Orders, as endorsed by 2nd Line Support Engineers (configuration changes, testing etc,).
- Completing shift handover to NOC Engineer in Charge taking over the next shift, including a signed checklist with completed procedures, any observations of degraded network performance, status of any open Trouble Tickets, movement of spares and faulty units in NOC Intermediate Stock ( report through NOC Manager to Logistics Manager).
