Aug. 2017 - Nov. 2017County Dublin, IrelandThe internship with the C&AG Office is a part of the Fellowship Programme for Government Officials from the Western Balkans. This Fellowship Programme is specifically designed for civil servants of the Western Balkan countries. The major objective of the programme is to gather up to 20 mid-career professionals from different fields and hence create them an opportunity to discuss current hot topics with respect to he EU, further negotiation process of their countries and to gain practical experience on how the public administration in the EU member states works and upon returning back home, apply some of the knowledge and skills that they have gained throughout the programme. The programme has a tradition of 9 years so far and it created a network of significant number of fellows from the Balkan region who are consulting each other on various issues and helping each other in different professional challenges. The most valuable phase of he programme is the internship with one of the EU public administration institution. This is how I got the chance to implement my internship with C&AG Office. New working environment, unfamiliar professional challenges and contact with many inspiring people, have thought me to create a broader picture and made me think about new personal and professional steps that I would like to undertake in the future.
