Primarily responsible for coaching, teaching, and mentoring Assault Company Commanders and their personnel in planning, preparing, and executing assault aviation operations in today's joint multinational operation environment. Responsible for training Aviation unit staffs on all aspects of doctrinally correct full spectrum aviation operations with emphasis on Air Assault planning and execution, air-ground integration, company maintenance operations, company administrative actions, and interaction with their higher headquarter. Day / Night / Night-vision-goggle Pilot-in-Command in the UH-72A Lakota Light Utility Helicopter.
