Maria Soares is a passionate Embodiment and Life Coach with over a decade of experience helping individuals reconnect with their inner selves and achieve holistic well-being. Based in Aljezur, Portugal, and London, Maria works in person and online with individuals and groups from all over the world. Maria has traveled and lived in several places, eg intentional ommunities, India and Bali, which give Maria a knowing and flexibility to be with people from different backgrounds and walks of life. Maria combines a holistic body-mind-heart approach, based in presence, deep listening, curiosity and compassion. She combines mindfulness techniques with personalized embodied exercises/movements, empowering her clients to lead more fulfilling and authentic lives. She holds a degree in Medicine and Master’s degree in Dance/ Movement Psychotherapy, and is a certified Movement Medicine Teacher. In the past, she worked as a medical consultant/ translator/ journalist for a pharmaceutical company; freelance photojournalist and photographer; kitchen manager, accommodation coordinator, procurement in a meditation center. In her journey, she has been exploring and integrating the scientific with the holistic world, yoga, meditation, satsang, dance, movement therapy, tantra and conscious relating. All of this bring a super powerful mix and experience to the table. She loves traveling and having a lifestyle that has both freedom and security, nature and cities, ocean and land. Music and dance are a most as well as conscious connections!
