Jul. 2021 - Jul. 2023Representing Native youth who reside in the States of Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and Idaho on the National UNITY Council Executive Committee as their liaison and representative to the UNITY Staff and Board of Trustees, elected by the Northwest Regional Caucus as defined by the UNITY Network. Serving alongside two Co-Presidents and 10 other Regional Representatives. Advocating for their issues, being their voice on the national level, and celebrating their accomplishments. • Appointed by the members of the National UNITY Council Executive Committee to serve as Secretary
• Advise Northwest UNITY youth councils on restructuring and rebuilding, as well as beginning tribe-specific community service projects to address top issues for youth.
• Maintain minutes of monthly and special meetings of the Executive Committee, and business meetings of the National UNITY Council.
• Co-facilitated first UNITY Regional Healing Circle in Oklahoma City, OK, leading discussion on Community Asset Mapping in ideal Indigenous communities.
• Co-facilitated UNITY Northwest Healing Circle in Tulalip, WA, leading discussion on Community Asset Mapping, Perfect Rez, and community service project/proposals for Tribal Leadership.
• As Secretary, constitutionally mandated to serve as Chairman of the Resolutions Committee.
• Co-authored 2022 NUC Resolution, “Restoring the Spirit of Native Youth” Initiative, offering support to youth councils in a period of reconnection in the form of healing circles and community asset mapping.
• Co-authored 2023 NUC Resolution, “Healing the Spirit of Native Youth” Initiative, continuing to offer support to youth councils in a period of reconnection in the form of safe spaces for healing, supporting community projects and fostering continued connections with UNITY cohorts.
• Co-authored another 2023 NUC Resolution, "Support for the First Nations Youth," to open doors to partnership, fellowship and collaboration between First Nations youth and UNITY programs.
