I’m a Unitarian Universalist minister with more than 30 years of experience in congregational leadership, interfaith work, and social justice. I currently serve as Senior Minister at Cedar Lane UU in Bethesda, Maryland—a vibrant, justice-seeking, multigenerational, multifaith community. My ministry has always been rooted in relationship and grounded in my upbringing in India. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to journey with congregations through seasons of change and growth, help shape national and international UU partnerships, and stay committed to the hard, hopeful work of building communities of love and liberation. Along the way, I’ve worked with leaders across faiths, met with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and was invited to the White House to meet with President Obama about immigrant justice. I believe in showing up and helping people live more deeply into their values, together.
