Monitored, updated, and documented patient care: medication schedules, subsequent treatments, patient contact, hospital readmission, and educated nursing staff about the research study. Evaluated and managed patient pain in collaboration with the oncology team. Assisted in the development of a budget, financial management, and reconciliations. Managed startup and close-out visits. Developed research standard operating procedures. Reported to Clinical Trials Manager. ▪ Protected patients by adhering to protocol and regulatory requirements, monitoring compliance to ICH guidelines and GCP regulations, verifying consent, and enforcing patient safety management protocols. ▪ All safety reports were filed 100% on time. Reported, wrote narratives, and followed up on all SAEs in a timely fashion. ▪ Preserved integrity of patient information by overseeing data managers in the design/revision of source documents and case reports. ▪ Managed travel expenses economically and in accordance with corporate travel policy. ▪ Monitored and corrected compliance oversight by expanding tools. All sponsor correspondence, protocol updates, drug updates and/or study amendments were regulatory approved and implemented 100 % on time. ▪ Volunteered to coordinate a new pharmaceutical study for an unfamiliar disease with previously challenging enrollment for a new PI. We became the highest enrolling institution in the United States, enrolling six subjects in four months. This study put our PI on the map with this company.
