As a dynamic executive with over two decades of international leadership in cruise tourism, luxury hospitality, and global talent management, I am writing to express my interest in joining your esteemed organization in a senior leadership capacity. My background uniquely combines public and private sector expertise, having led operations across government tourism bodies, multinational cruise lines, and high-growth enterprises across three continents. Most recently, I served as the Head of Talent Acquisition & Crewing for MSC Cruises South Africa, where I lead regional strategies for end-to-end crewing and workforce alignment across our global fleet. Prior to that, I was honored to represent the Western Cape Government as Head of Cruise Business Development at Wesgro, positioning Cape Town on the global cruise map through strategic international trade relations, infrastructure development, and public-private stakeholder partnerships. My career includes over 16 years in senior shipboard management, including roles as Hotel Director, Chief Purser, and Crew Purser (HR) with elite cruise brands such as Carnival, Oceania, and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. I also successfully led a portfolio of businesses under the Norwegian Honorary Consul in South Africa as Group Business Manager and Head of Projects, where I was responsible for executive governance, all Human Resources aspects, financial oversight, and project development. Throughout these roles, I’ve maintained a consistent record of driving growth, enhancing service excellence, building empowered global teams, and championing transformative initiatives in complex, multicultural environments. I am passionate about creating sustainable value and leaving a lasting impact—both within organizations and the communities they serve.
