Dec. 2019 - Jul. 2023CTIF is a seven-year project funded by the Government of Canada, to support priority trade and investment-related policy reforms that are aligned with Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP) objectives and have a high potential to reduce poverty in ODA-eligible developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region. • Maintained oversight of projects focused on access to finance, SME development, trade-related initiatives, and inclusive technical assistance (TA) across over 20 Asia-Pacific countries, ensuring adherence to GBA+ evaluations.
• Authored technical briefs for CTIF and GAC on various topics, including digital finance trends, inclusive finance, access to finance, and trends in multi-/pluri-lateral trade negotiations.
• Co-developed and monitored a Performance Monitoring Framework, including indicators and targets for economic development, market access, access to finance, business growth, gender mainstreaming, GESI/GEDSI, and environmental sustainability.
• Key achievements: Designed CTIF’s WTO-related support program, facilitating Timor-Leste’s WTO accession and capacity building on trade and development issues. Developed a flagship E-commerce and Trade Assistance initiative for women-led SMEs, emphasizing export support, digitalization, and ESG standards.
