In addition to teaching, I was the club adviser for Student Council. Our club sponsored key fundraisers annually to benefit our local community. I served on the School Leadership team for several years, and two years on the School Council Committee. I worked as a mentor for three Student Teachers over the course of my ten years with the county. I was recognized as the Teacher of the Month August 2011, and left Henry County Schools to pursue my career ambition of a leadership position that will allow me to expand my leadership experience and increase my career potential.
