Elyssa “Ekka” Peck is a seasoned nonprofit leader and passionate Jewish educator with over a decade of experience in youth programming, community engagement, and strategic operations. Currently the Director of Admissions and Operations for Israel Programs at Young Judaea Global, Ekka manages U.S.-based enrollment and logistics for immersive gap-year and summer experiences in Israel. Previously, she built up and led Young Judaea's U.S. marketing and recruitment departments, expanding the program’s reach and strengthening its national impact. Her background also includes extensive work in informal Jewish education, executive-level administration, and freelance political and Jewish fundraising—spanning event execution, donor vetting, and data management. Ekka spent four formative years living in Israel, deepening her connection to Israeli culture and Jewish life. She is fluent in Hebrew and brings both dedication and a strong sense of humor to every professional setting, adding seriousness and levity to any work environment. A motivated and adaptable professional, Ekka is both a natural leader and an excellent team player—equally effective collaborating with others or working independently under pressure. She holds a B.A. in Hebrew Language Studies from CUNY Queens and lives just outside NYC in the Hudson Valley with her husband and their three amazing children.
