Work Background
Software Engineer
ZnappitSoftware Engineer
May. 2013 - Aug. 2013Paris, Île-de-France, FranceZnappit is a simple and funny way to create videos with your friends, and only for them. Create groups, invite your friends, and all the videos you share will automatically contribute to your collaborative group video. As a developer, I had to automate the process of fetching individual videos and create the summary (the collaborative version). Using FFmpeg, I created Unix scripts that manipulated the videos and created the summary.

Maltem Consulting GroupSoftware Engineer
Oct. 2004 - Apr. 2011Paris, Ile-de-France, FranceMaltem is a firm specializing in consulting, digital & sustainable transformation since 2001. They meet a wide range of digital needs thanks to a comprehensive and international ecosystem of expertise. As a consultant, I had to meet the clients' needs and provide my expertise in Murex. Murex is a company that supplies financial software for trading, treasury, risk, and post-trade operations for financial markets. For 7 years, I have worked for 2 clients (BNP Paribas and Calyon) in their back and middle office. At BNP, I programmed several monitoring interfaces in Java to deal with fixings and payments. At Calyon, I worked on several VaR (value at risk) reports and managed stress tests.
Intern
IRCAMIntern
May. 2003 - Oct. 2003Paris, Île-de-France, FranceIRCAM (Institute for Research and Coordination in Acoustics/Music) is a French institute dedicated to the research of music and sound, especially in the fields of avant-garde and electro-acoustical art music. It is situated next to and is organisationally linked with the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Several concepts for electronic music and audio processing have emerged at IRCAM (FM synthesis, Max/MSP). Many of the techniques associated with spectralism were made practical by technological contributions at IRCAM. IRCAM has played an instrumental role in developing programs for visualization of musical form with the creation of OpenMusic, a Lisp-based visual programming language. As an intern, I had to port a Matlab sound classification tool in C++ to be used by commercial programs. I analyzed the code written by my predecessor, continued the work of translation and ensured the quality of the port using MEX files.
