Prepare price comparison testwork and document pricing procedures.
Review income entries for equity investments and fixed income investments (i.e. interest accruals and amortization).
Calculate and enter expense accruals.
Prepare budget to actual expense comparisons monthly.
Prepare advisor fee and incentive fee invoices and administration fee invoices.
Review bi-monthly reconciliation of portfolio holdings and cash or more frequent reconciliations as required by the client and document any discrepancies.
Calculate performance on a gross and net of fee basis.
Prepare and distribute daily, weekly or monthly accounting reports to clients.
Coordinate the preparation of all necessary investor subscription documentation.
Coordinate partner contributions and withdrawals.
Review new partner set-ups in the Partnership Accounting System Reconcile net assets between the Partnership Accounting System and Portfolio Accounting System. Assist the tax director in preparing the book to tax adjustment and IRS Form 1065 and Schedule K-1s along with any required state partnership tax forms.
Prepare quarterly, semi-annual and/or annual financial statements.
Work directly with independent auditors providing necessary information for audits and tax reviews.
Prepare compliance schedules to ensure partnership compliance with the following regulatory and legal requirements (Securities and Exchange Act of 1933 exemptions, Internal Revenue Code, and Blue Sky state exemption registration requirements, Private Offering Memorandum requirements). Provide general over-site and assist in the training of AIP Administrator – Level 1 staff.
