IBTs including, inter alia, the highly complex & wide spectrum of contracts comprised by M&As, EPC projects, Financing (oil & mining mega projects, high value assets -e.g., aircraft or mining fleets-, regular single lender & syndicated loans) & the sale of highly regulated commodities (including local long term supply/off-take agreements & international supply &/or distribution agreements, for intermediaries). In-depth knowledge of the business laws (corporate, contractual, choice of law & dispute resolution) of the foregoing jurisdictions, plus functional knowledge of the business laws of another 4 Civil Law jurisdictions (The Netherlands, Switzerland, Peru & Panama); acquired by acting for 7.5 years as Lead Counsel of multinationals & foreign companies in complex IBTs; immediately preceded by 10.5 years prior experience working in transactions governed by the laws of the State of NY, England & Wales, or France, as legal decision maker, lead negotiator & contracts’ drafter, advised by major international law firms. Additionally to full knowledge of Colombian laws, with especial expertise in mining & hydrocarbons.
