The scope of the project includes analyzing current business processes achieved through meeting with Portfolio Managers, Traders and Trade Operations (middle office) business people, and understanding the current business and its requirements as well as pain points with the current system and its workflows. Following this stage is identification of workflow improvements that can be achieved in the new system, testing them, and presenting them to the end users in preparation for implementation. Leading up to implementation extensive testing and validation is performed along with identifying new requirements with the end users as well as relaying enhancement requests and defects to the vendor and managing and closing issues throughout the process. Finally we work through the go-live conversion for the business groups and support the end users with using the new system while continually training the administrators of the system and managing the relationship with the new software vendor.
