Mar. 2013 - Dec. 2013The receptionist position is a high-profile position and is the first person to represent the face of Child’s Voice whether on the phone, or when they visit the school. The receptionist’s primary accountability is answering the phone and providing clerical support services to staff, teachers, and parents. In addition, the receptionist is also accountable for maintaining the reception area including the functionality of all school electronic communications, including all connectivity with the printers, copier, laminator, and the phone system. The individual in this position is expected to be able to multi-task, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all areas. Further, this individual should expect to work under pressure with many interruptions continuously from the phone, staff, vendor deliveries, and visitors. Maintain outlook calendars. The receptionist is expected to promote goodwill along with conveying a positive and professional image of the school and maintain the highest level of confidentiality of all school, student, parent, staff and vendor information.
