I have published in several literary journals, works that include, “Like Clumps of Dried Dirt,” “Bridge Party,” and “A Number on Reality,” in Fast Forward Vol. 3, The Mix Tape (2010), which was the finalist for the Colorado Book Awards. I was nominated for the Pushcart Prize in 2019. I have written for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. I have also published a book, Italy: Beer Country, the first book about the Italian craft beer movement. I have written journalistic pieces published in many magazines, including those listed above. I have also published copy for blogs, ads and marketing, created profiles for important clients with creative zest. I am a prolific writer and continue to publish fiction and non-fiction. I am a pioneer in Flash Fiction and highly skilled at creating tight, short pieces with the full emotional experience of story telling on a tight thread of tension. My experiences have given me the unique ability to form true stories from factual content into tight, literary threads that ring like fiction with all the facts at play.
