Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated, I have over 10 years of experience in software development as a developer, software architect, and then development manager. If there's one phrase I particularly like to apply to my work, it's: "Work hard, but don't take yourself too seriously." It's essential to work in a positive atmosphere to be as productive as possible and, above all, to continue enjoying your work. A good mood in collaboration with clients is also crucial and leads to better communication. First as a developer in the metalworking industry, then as a service provider, I then spent a few years at a software company, developing an ERP system for managing patient records in a psychiatric setting. When the time came to completely rebuild the ERP system—which had become unmaintainable—my knowledge of more modern technologies and my technical curiosity led to my appointment as development manager. Initially working with a team of four developers, I eventually managed around twenty. Once the technologies were chosen (Java 8, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate, ExtJS), my favorite part of the project arrived: defining the software architecture, outlining the different layers, and so on. I also took on the role of manager, organizing training sessions, creating schedules, assigning projects, and leading this large team while trying to maintain a positive atmosphere, even during stressful moments—sometimes with the help of pizzas... I was also delighted with the client interactions during the various production deployments I was able to carry out. Even when the pressure was at its peak (changing software used by 800 people in an organization is never a trivial matter), communication was always key. My curiosity also drives me to develop personal websites using technologies other than those I use at work, in order to hone my skills in different technologies.
