Ana Paula Arendt, pseudonym of R. P. Alencar, is a Brazilian political scientist, poet and diplomat. She is the author of children's books, plays, novels and collections of poems. She published the play "O Constituinte", an honorable mention at UBE-RJ, by Editora Só Livro Bom, and the epithalamium, "As Veneráveis Virtudes do Homem", honorable mention at the Maraã Prize, by Editora Chiado.
