*Managing, the System Support Team.
*Planning and organising network and End-User Support.
*To continuously administer the support and systems capabilities and capacity,to rapidly
meet volatile market demands in line with the delivery SLA standard as set out by Management
*Identification of any potential risk for Immediate elimination or the limitation of impact
*Maintain and Administer the LAN/WAN network.
*Maintain and Administer Server Rooms and Servers
relating to the following branches that falls under the Exactmobile Phones, Exactmobile Solutions And Exactmobile,Groups: Rivonia Branch,Vodaworld/Nokia Branch
Port Elisabeth Branch(Nokia) and Cape Town Branch(Nokia)
*Manage End-User Support and Maintenance at all Branches, consisting of approximately 300 users. *Manage the System Support Team as directed by
operational values and ethics as well as government legal and regulatory requirements.
*Responsible for the identification of ever changing Systems and Support imperatives with communication to management with regards to subsequent implementation of strategic and tactical intent. *Maintenance and deployment of new servers/software and security procedures.
*Maintenance of Websites, Databases, Application Servers(eg.SMS to shortcode), Shortcode systems, Wap Gateways and SMPP(Short Message Peer to Peer) connections over National/International Diginet Lines.
*Working with other parties to ensure minimal system downtime when any issue or problems arise – Have worked with various cellular service providers. *Designing and Maintaining of the roster for a 24/7 service delivery of System support.
