Key responsibilities included: Therapeutic Interventions: Delivered tailored therapy using second- and third-wave approaches, including DBT and ACT, to address a range of mental health concerns. Assessments & Evaluations: Collaborated with the Office of Disability Services to conduct ADHD and learning disability evaluations, utilizing a comprehensive battery of assessments (WAIS-IV, WJ-IV, Barkley’s ADHD Scales, PSQI, BAI, BDI), and provided detailed recommendations. Substance Use Interventions: Conducted evidence-based substance use interventions (CHOICES, BASICS, CASICS) for students, supporting harm reduction and informed decision-making. Training & Presentations: Prepared and presented case conferences and didactic presentations to clinic supervisors and fellow trainees, contributing to peer learning and professional development. DBT Training: Engaged in additional didactic training and supervision to provide adherent DBT and DBT-informed skills training. Administrative & Group Support: Provided administrative support by scheduling appointments and organizing group training sessions, including counseling and support for freshmen during orientation week. This role allowed me to integrate clinical expertise with comprehensive assessments and educational initiatives to enhance student well-being and support.
