For ONS, I built part of the software layer that interfaced the database and the user interface with the core mathematical solvers in the system that plans the operation of the Brazilian power grid. On another project, I applied my expertise in Neural Networks to validate vendors’ technical proposals for a system that used rain forecast to improve the quality of river flow forecast.
For The Coca Cola Company, I built a Neural Network-based system that forecasted sales volumes based on both seasonality and marketing variables, such as the presence of advertisement, relative price, availability in selling points, etc. The system also allowed the analysis of the impact of these variables on the sales volume.
