Responsible for the detailed analyses of campaign finances, data integrity and compliance with CFC regulations. Provided ongoing motivation, training and technical assistance to campaign leadership and workers. The CFC efforts at DHHS raised over $6 million, 1 million over goal, for the more than 4500 charities in the National Capital region. DHHS Leadership Award in recognition of outstanding management of and dedicated service to the Combined Federal Campaign was presented to me in March 2013.

One of my primary responsibilities was to serve as the liaison with Partnership leadership and Board members and to oversee the consultant team in the design, preparation and execution of a high-level conference for the Partnership’s Presidential Management and Transition Initiative. Participants in the conference included representatives from each Presidential campaign, current and former Members of Congress, current and former political appointees and experts in government ethics, security clearance and personnel practices. In preparation for the conference, we interviewed over 30 current and former administration officials who worked on Presidential transitions. I developed the interview guide used and provided technical assistance and guidance to the consultant team preparing materials for the conference. I attended the conference and ensured conference goals were met. On a weekly basis, I provided employee engagement and strategic planning counsel to the Partnership team working on a three-year Best Places to Work initiative at the Department of Education. I also developed a marketing and communications strategy for the Partnership’s orientation and training program for political appointees. I reviewed and recommended improvements to the Performance Evaluation coursework for the Excellence in Government Fellows. In addition, I developed and disseminated a survey of USDA SESCDP participants to evaluate their experience. I drafted a report based on the survey results that provided recommendations for strengthening the program to USDA’s Virtual University staff.
