Oct. 2018 - Jul. 2019Leeds, United KingdomAs Editor for the AHC Faculty Newsletter, I led and managed a team of interns to produce a weekly newsletter that was circulated to students using Mailchimp. This arts-specific communications resource delivered a bulletin of upcoming events, opportunities (both paid and voluntary), career advice and provided a platform for students to promote their own projects and collaborate with others. In addition, we dedicated multiple events, opportunities and sections of the newsletter to post-graduates, mature and international students. This encouraged intersectional connections throughout the faculty. Similarly, I worked on the marketing support team for UGRE festival; producing marketing material and visual assets for multi-channelled distribution. Accessibility was a fundamental consideration that I ensured was implemented in the foundation of all projects. As a dyslexic person, I understand first-hand the necessity to reach and engage with all learner’s needs: from visual, auditory, kinaesthetic learners to more conventional readers and writers. Working closely with the disability services to ensure accessibility measures were being met, we produced a range of digital material: visual graphics, videos and audio-based resources

The competition seeks to engage Key Stage 4 students, regardless of background or experience, with art and to develop their confidence and ability to express their opinions, thoughts and conclusions.
