I'm Mohsen Yazdi, a software and embedded systems engineer with over 10 years of experience working at the intersection of hardware and AI. Most recently, I was a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Qualcomm, where I focused on optimizing deep neural networks to run efficiently on Qualcomm hardware and modeling power consumption for cutting-edge CPUs like the Snapdragon X Elite. Before that, I developed multi-threaded frameworks for real-time LiDAR applications on embedded systems at Microdrones Inc., and at Anyon Systems, I worked on high-speed data acquisition systems for quantum processors using Verilog and Xilinx FPGA platforms. Earlier in my career, I applied machine learning and signal processing techniques to cardiac diagnostics at Analytics for Life. I hold a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Queen’s University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tehran, both with a GPA of 4.0. I work primarily in C++ and Verilog, with additional experience in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and embedded development across various platforms and protocols.
