Oversee annual plan audit for five qualified retirement plans and annual filing of IRS Form 5500. Ensure that plans comply with ERISA, IRS, and Department of Labor regulations. Enhance relationships with outside vendors, including trustees, actuaries, record keepers, insurance companies, and brokers. Review and prepare defined benefit plan benefit calculations. Responsible for on-going maintenance of the benefits section of the Workday HRIS System including data feeds from to various vendors. Manage annual plan renewals including plan design and financial modeling. Manage partner life insurance program which includes over 200 policies and 100 insurance trusts requiring CRUMMEY notices.
