• Analyzed metrics to optimize content and briefed senior staff on trends, increasing social media followers from 37K to 68K, increasing newsletter subscribers from 3K to over 5K, and improving the newsletter open rate from under 25% to 40%+
• Led promotion and 24-hour live social media coverage across the global team and 4 regional hubs for 2020 and 2021 virtual Global Summits with 100+ attendees each
• Spearheaded an organization-wide content refresh for a new website, tracking and editing updates for 70+ pages, managing the migration of 100s of blog posts, projects, and staff and volunteer profiles, and reviewing deliverables from the contracted web development agency over 9 months
• Worked with journalists from outlets including the New York Times, Washington Post, and the BBC to feature quotes from staff experts, and developed talking points for crisis response, such as the war in Ukraine, the Turkey-Syria earthquake, and the Israel-Gaza conflict
• Trained staff in best practices for outreach strategy, social media, publishing, and media relations
• Managed priorities and collaboration for a growing team, ultimately including 7 staff, onboarding and training 6 staff, and mentoring 4 regional staff in launching their hubs' social media profiles
• Created a digital multimedia library of 100+ guides, templates, photos, graphics, and logos using a combination of Google Sites, Canva, and Flickr
