With roots firmly planted in craftsmanship, my design journey began as a youth, assisting my father in the intricate art of cabinet building. This early exposure to form and function laid the groundwork for a career dedicated to the built environment. While pursuing architecture at the University of Arkansas, I deepened my practical understanding by engaging in construction and drafting, gaining hands-on experience that complements academic learning. An early adopter of nascent technology, I delved into ArchiCAD in 1987, embracing 3D modeling and CAD software from its formative years. My expertise now spans decades of extensive use of both ArchiCAD and Autodesk platforms, mastering the tools that bring architectural visions to life. I thrive in collaborative environments, particularly excelling when working with smaller teams and individuals. My strength lies primarily in the meticulous production of high-quality design materials, ensuring precision and clarity in every output. While my natural inclination leans more towards technical execution, decades of diverse experience have cultivated a keen sense for design and style, allowing me to approach projects with both practical expertise and an informed aesthetic sensibility.
