I was frequently the producer, writer, transcriber, and director. On occasion, I was even called on to shoot video and edit materials. Our company won numerous awards, from Tellys to Auroras to Gabriels. Stepstone Productions was consistently ranked as one of the top production houses in the Midwest.

Mar. 1994 - May. 1999For 5 years, and starting with a 3-month sports internship, I proved myself to the point of being hired full time as the show's very first assistant producer, and later as the first production director. As the show became more popular, and syndication became a reality, our team helped to provide a seamless transition from local to national air-worthy materials. And as responsibilities grew, so did the amount of hats that needed to be worn. My "airtime" grew exponentially, and my comedy writing garnered attention from across the country. As production director, I was responsible for creating "Best of..." shows, as well as pre-produced comedy bits, and Steve and DC's fourth, best selling CD - "A Wing and a Prayer."
