Jimmy Patch is a creative director, illustrator and artist based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. With a career spanning over 20 years in the creative arts, Jimmy has delved into the world of theatrical performance, music and creative thinking, to settle finally in the design and animation industry. Throughout the years Jimmy Patch has built a thriving business in Patch Creative Co. which provides a creative service offering to a broad range of clients in industries ranging from, but not limited to, consulting and facilitation, government departments, health, technology, not-for-profits, social impact, environmental impact and the entertainment industry. Patch Creative Co. has delivered on projects that have enabled groups to communicate more effectively through visual storytelling in the forms of illustration, animation, graphic recording and graphic design. Jimmy Patch has been fortunate to travel the world and work with a broad range of clients from the ABC to KPMG, ARUP to RMIT and Universal Music to Hamish and Andy. The projects Jimmy has taken on include animations that communicate complex messages simply, full scale graphic design of documentation, beer label design and murals covering entire stores. Jimmy has lit up the New Farm Park foreshore with his projections of Powerhouse Pets, covered the walls of the Brisbane Workday offices with two 7m x 3m hand painted murals and designed multiple podcast tiles for some incredible popular podcasts. In Jimmy’s accolades you will find two BADC awards, nominee for QLD Young Achiever, a speaker at Creative Mornings, Supanova and TAFE.

Ongoing, I researched and ensured that I was up to date with music of all genres. The position also required a quality and censorship control in which I was required to view music videos and audio to ensure there were no flaws and they were appropriate for the demographic that would be listening to them.
