- Jul. 2025•Oversee employee compliance with established policies and procedures; make informed decisions and recommendations regarding hiring, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
•Lead the overall HR functions, including recruitment, selection, placement, classification, compensation, and records management.
•Manage the full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition process to attract, hire, and retain top talent for the Authority. Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure the timely filling of positions with qualified candidates.
•Oversee operations and personnel to ensure compliance with the Authority's policies, rules, and regulations. Respond to employee injury incidents and conduct investigations as necessary. Contribute to the development of training and education programs focused on safety, security, emergency management, and accident prevention.
•Plan, coordinate, and implement key human resources programs, including employee assistance, wellness initiatives, safety suggestions, and more. Actively participate in the safety and wellness committees. •Lead or direct investigations of complex and serious employment matters. Serve as the Authority’s representative in unemployment-related legal matters. •Communicate effectively with attorneys, union representatives, insurance officials, business leaders, and regulatory agencies to exchange information and resolve employment-related issues, grievances, claims, and lawsuits.
•Oversee the labor relations program, manage the collective bargaining process, and evaluate proposals for contract negotiations. Participate in contract negotiations, finalize contract documents, and administer the contract. •Serve as an integral member of the Management Team, actively contributing to the development of Authority policies.
•Prepare, maintain, and distribute records, reports, and statistics for internal use and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
