I created the operating procedures in place today and finally defined what an analyst in this department had responsibility for. Since I was assigned to two Sales VPs, I gained valuable knowledge in communication, setting expectations, and business acumen. With the assistance of the Analyst role, the Sales VPs were able to successfully meet (and exceed) their goals, thus growth ensued. As a result of this continued success, personally and for the department, I was promoted to managing the department's operations.
