Jan. 2011 - Feb. 2013Direct the Peace Commission's work, a multisectoral organization dedicated to drafting a public policy on violence prevention for the city of Caguas. Coordinate government programs for violence prevention using arts, citizen participation, and education to promote social awareness and a culture of peace. Design the mayor's special projects, the Advisory Council for Children and Adolescents, and the institutional campaign for the promotion of the City's Values. Collaborate in the Educating City project developing concrete actions in cultural education, national pride, and tourism for students of six City schools located in high criminal incidence areas to promote healthy coexistence. Collaborate in logistics and be a lecturer for IDEC 2012, International Congress on Democratic Education with the participation of 21 countries. Carry out and collaborate in meetings, workshops, activities, and marches that group from 25 to 2,500 people to educate on peace, environment, health, and youth leadership.
