FreelanceBrand Ambassador & Events Manager
Apr. 2003 - Apr. 2011UK, France, SpainDuring my time working in events management my duties consisted of brand representation, events management, team management, placing POS, vehicle logistics, stock control, sales, product placement and event reporting.
One company I spent 2 years working for was Monster Energy working at extreme sports events representing and raising awareness of the Monster Energy brand. With strong time management skills I planned my own shifts, researching target markets and working effectively in a team, comprehensively reporting all progress from day to day activity that went to form the basis of market research. Whilst continually over achieving targets set, an event I had a significant involvement in throughout the year was the British Downhill Series.
In December 2o1o I progressed to the events team for Monster Energy based out in France. Events I was successfully involved with were the Rock on Snowboard Tour and the Champs of Chamrousse. I was selected to tour the Alps representing the Monster Energy brand and was responsible for events management and in resort promotion.
Another company I spent 2 years representing was Nintendo. My role at Nintendo was to help continually raise brand awareness of the brand. I worked on several game launches, across a number of the Nintendo platforms.
During my time working on the Gold Live team I built excellent relationships in-store with managers, store staff and end consumers. I have a track record of successfully negotiating the best in-store locations and achieving preferential product placement using creative displays and an innovative use of space. Chosen as the face of Nintendo Gold Live I was promoted to Regional Brand Ambassador. I looked after 170 game stores in the North East, trained store staff and managers on new releases. Conducted daily power point presentations at managers meetings, placed POS in stores and compiled a weekly report on competitor activity. My work was sent over to Japan to represent the UK team.
