Expert in Smart Systems & Sustainable Engineering I am a civil engineer and scientist with over 12 years of international experience at the intersection of smart systems, environmental engineering, and sustainable aquaculture. As the Co-Founder and CEO of ALGOFAIT, I lead a multidisciplinary team driving innovation in land-based and floating fish farms using AI, IoT, and zero-water discharge systems. My work focuses on transforming aquaculture into a climate-resilient, data-driven, and eco-efficient industry. I hold a Ph.D. in Civil & Geoenvironmental Engineering from the University of Lille (France) with a specialization in Smart and Sustainable Aquaculture, and I’ve worked on large-scale projects across Europe, the Gulf, and North Africa. My contributions include patented clean-tech systems, award-winning RAS and offshore cage solutions, and regional collaborations with FAO, UN agencies, and national governments. Recognized with multiple awards including the 2024 AgriNext Award (Dubai) and EU Business Award for Innovation, I am passionate about building resilient food systems and enabling technology-driven solutions that address global water, food, and climate challenges.
