I hold a Master's in Education (Literacy) and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Technology (ABD). My career journey includes over a decade in education, where I championed creativity in the classroom through purposeful technology integration and fostered engaging learning environments as a Technology Integration Specialist and 4th-grade teacher. This foundation in education is now powerfully applied at Pratt & Whitney, where, as a Quality Inspector, Operational Excellence Specialist, and NXGEN ERG Site Lead, I leverage CORE (Six Sigma) methodologies to drive efficiency, lead critical projects, and cultivate strong cross-functional collaboration. My accomplishments at Pratt & Whitney include significant contributions to operational improvements through meticulous time studies and the implementation of standardized work procedures. My exceptional communication skills facilitate effective leadership in management reviews and cost-saving initiatives. Notably, I earned national recognition for my success in establishing the NXGEN Employee Resource Group. Prior to my industry role, I demonstrated leadership and innovation by spearheading technology initiatives in school districts, including 1-to-1 computer programs and the integration of cutting-edge tools. A Google Certified Educator and award recipient, I am a dedicated lifelong learner committed to applying my diverse skills to drive meaningful progress in any environment.
