Dec. 2020 - Jan. 2022Brought on to assist as a Research Analyst for K12 insight for the launch project of "Let's Talk! Assistant”, a chatbot/virtual assistant developed for use by up to eight (8) school district websites across the United States, including Florida, California, and Texas. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Let's Talk! Implementation and worked autonomously with the engineering and marketing teams to develop strategies to improve virtual assistant, “Let’s Talk! Assistant” Apply strong critical thinking, neurobiology undergraduate research experience, verbal, and written communication skills to research, analyze, and present on the nuances machine learning implementation, via Google DialogFlow. Conceptualize and create an onboarding guide for the training of internal employees on the machine learning project. Converted complex technical language into easy to understand guides to educate on the basics of machine learning. Exercise discretion, discernment, and strict attention-to-detail while contacting various companies, gathering data, and identifying the best approach for implementing the chatbot technology. Closely collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and UI/UX designers, to ensure project success. Leverage subject matter expertise to assist in conducting regular agent training for chatbots (Let's Talk! Assistant) to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Conceptualize and created “flows” and “pages” drawing from expertise and experience working in Dialogflow CX. Employ knowledge and understanding of the basic structures of machine learning to structure a dashboard aligned with market standards. Ensure detailed precision and accuracy while equating industry-standard terminology regarding DialogFlow chatbots. Hold full accountability for creating templates for new documents developed in Excel and used by various departments.
